Choosing Horizon was one of the best moves I have made in the Home Inspection business. Home Hub Zone, my previous software, was merged/bought out. We had to make a fast decision on a new software. A colleague in Atlanta suggested Horizon. The speed and user friendly platform allows me to write the vast majority, if not all of my report in the field, saving me time, money and GAS! I've used Horizon software for over a year now with my home inspection company, and find it to be a solid system. It gives you you the ability to edit and change according to what you need and publishes great reports. The team at horizon are very quick to answer questions and give advise on any issues the user may have. Overall a very user friendly platform especially if you are a new user.

After completing my course, using the software as a student, the Horizon staff were very helpful at getting me set up to start my new business venture. I was impressed with how simple the software is to use and the fact that they are continually producing more user friendly add-ons. Bryan, their technical support specialist, has been very helpful and quick to respond to any questions. Stave, software account manager, was accommodating with my schedule, extremely courteous, punctual with requested call back times, and offered me a great first year/introductory rate.

The home inspection software is complex but very thorough. I am used to it now and have absolutely no problem using it. When I a have a question, there is always (and I do mean always) someone on the other end of the phone to walk me through my problem. Much better than the competition that never answers the phone. Five stars because the software absolutely covers every imaginable problem, is laid out very well, and is ultimately easy to use. Also, my clients like the report.

I am, and have been a Professional Home Inspector for the past 25 years. Having used only written, hard copy reports, it was my goal to transition to retirement before the need to provide digital services. Covid changed all that with a greatly reduced level of active client participation which necessitated the move to digital format.The very day upon subscribing to Horizon Carsondunlop reached out to provide immediate one on one training. During our first session Bryon set up daily, personalized training webinars. I am new at home inspection. I downloaded 3 types of software. I was confused, computer are not my strong point. When we first opened our Home Inspection business, I looked at all the software companies. I choose Horizon because I felt it was the most clear and easy to read report from my client and customers point of view. The app makes it super efficient for the inspectors to get the right information in the right place. Multiple inspectors can work on one report at the same time. There are hyperlinks and diagrams plus so much more. And that's on the report writing end.It is also a customer management software you use to communicate with the agents and buyers. There are email templates you can set up to be sent out automatically to remind folks of their appointment or to up sell.If you ever need customer service, these guys are on it fast. Horizon finds good talent and then keeps them. It makes for a delightful experience.

I started on Horizon back when I was an employed inspector with a large firm. When I started my own company 7 years ago I thought I would try another software. Well, I never got past the set up phase with 2 other choices. This is easy to use, produces a great looking report which clients and agents have complimented and the support is exceptional. AND, they keep making it better! Can't ask for more.

Having used Horizon Software for the last 10 months I have to say it is a great product. The customer service is exceptional (Ariel especially)! I’ve called numerous times and he answers the phone with an immediate answer as I thought for sure I was going to stump him on a few issues. Even when he’s been out of the office, I’ve gotten very quick (same day) responses to emails and calls. While on a roof once with a phone app issue I called and had to leave a message. He called me within 5 minutes and recognized in a few seconds I hadn’t updated my app! Now that’s service!The company is continually updating the report software to make report completion faster and offers frequent webinars to better understand the system. There is a detailed setup and a learning curve required to get settled into the process and that’s expected with such a comprehensive program. Almost every aspect of the system is customizable and what can’t be customized within the system, they have workaround suggestions.I particularly like how the recent update easily allows adding my own comments for future reports. this keeps me from having to type the same issues over and over. This was improvement was completed after many requests throughout the Horizon user community and bam... it shows up ten times better than requested. These guys put the thought into updates before they execute! This latest update incorporated many suggestions into one awesome update! It literally shortened my report writing by 45 minutes to 1 hour less and I’m very detailed!Pricing is fair within the Inspection industry and they offer monthly plans and packages (I chose the package plan because I’m still new and getting established). The biggest and best aspect are the professional reports that look better than my competition. You won’t go wrong with these guys!

I've been a Horizon user for approximately 10 years. I've performed thousands of home inspections using this software. Two things that really stand out for me: 1) I consistently get compliments from clients and agents in regards to the report presentation and how easy it is to understand. Agents have been especially happy with the Action List that we provide them with every inspection report (included free with Horizon). 2) The team at Horizon really takes to heart suggestions for improvement from inspectors. Updates are done on a regular basis, each one improving the overall user experience. The most recent update was the best yet, imho. 10 years of using this software should say everything.

This is the only software I recommend to new and exiting home inspectors. My clients love the report layout so when clients are happy, agents and I are happy. Clients also like the home owners reference manual at the end of each report. For me as an inspector the mobile app is great with many options to help speed up the report process.
