About the Program
Although we are experts in home inspection, we turned to the education professionals for help with our training. We worked with an education design consulting company and distance education specialists from Memorial University to produce the premium home inspection training program in America. Our education program did not just raise the bar, it set a new standard for home inspection education. Taught in both distance education and classroom formats over the last 10 years, this unique program has been field tested and proven with thousands of students.
Our philosophy is built around simplifying the technical concepts. We avoid theoretical discussions, formulas and calculations. We focus on things home inspectors need to know.
|Each of the 10 courses includes a richly illustrated binder with course text, quizzes for self-evaluation, field exercises, inspection procedures and inspection checklist. For each of the nine technical subjects, there is a CD-ROM with annotated photos and voice-over that take the textbook learning to the next level. You see what things look like out in the field, and hear the explanations from a veteran home inspector.|
|The Home Reference Book, Carson Dunlop’s essential homeowners manual, is included FREE of charge with the program. This book has become the gold standard in the profession and is used as a report writing system as well as a reference manual for homeowners. The 500 color illustrations and clearly-worded text provide great learning tools for those new to home inspection.|
|You also enjoy FREE use of Horizon, our state-of-the art cloud-based reporting system, while taking the program. This is a great tool to help you get comfortable writing professional home inspection reports.
