Mold Inspection – This is a complete visual inspection of the entire home from basement to attic for signs of water intrusion and mold growth. Moisture readings will be collected throughout the home. Two indoor air samples and one outdoor reference sample will be collected. Should visible mold growth be identified one surface sample (“swab”) will be collected. The results of the sample and investigation will be summarized in a report.
Indoor Air Quality Inspection – A complete review of indoor air quality with a special monitoring system to measure temperature, humidity, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, volatile organic compounds (odors or chemical off-gassing), and dust. Mold Inspections can be bundled with the Indoor Air Quality Inspection.
Asbestos Testing – An inspection and test to determine if asbestos is present in building materials including roofing, siding, flooring, vermiculite insulation and pipe and duct wraps.
Swimming Pool Inspection – A complete evaluation of the pool and equipment to help identify any potential issues.
Septic Tank Evaluation – Inspection of septic system function and capacity. Advice is provided on proper use, care and maintenance. Evaluations are available on new or existing systems.
Sewer Camera Inspection – A visual inspection of the interior of the drainage piping using specialized cameras to identify problems.
Termite Inspection – An investigation of the interior and exterior of the home looking for evidence of termites or termite activity.
Thermal Imaging Inspection – The inspection consists of a thermal scan which provides both infrared and digital images to identify hidden issues in the home, including concealed moisture problems.
UFFI Testing – The home is inspected for the presence of Urea-Formaldehyde Foam Insulation. If UFFI is identified, the home can be tested for formaldehyde gas levels.
Water Quality Evaluation – A visual assessment of the Well or Cistern to verify that it is functioning properly. Clients are provided with a certificate of potability. The inspection also consists of a loading test, tracer dye test, and bacterial water sample analysis. Chemical Water Sampling is also available. Septic Tank Evaluation can be bundled with Water Quality Evaluation.
WETT (Wood Energy Technology Transfer) Inspections – A visual examination of wood burning appliances to verify the proper installation and clearance for safety and home insurability.
Commercial Building Inspection – We are able to provide inspections of commercial buildings through our affiliate, CDW Engineering.
