  • Average number of inspections a full time inspector does - 222 per year
  • Average home inspection fee - $318
  • 64% are sole proprietors
  • 18% work part-time only
  • The typical full-time inspector earned $88,080 in 2004.
  • The typical part-time inspector earned $36,300 in 2004.
  • Average gross revenue has increased by 29% since 1996.
