Real Estate Continuing Education

Continuing Education Requirements

As of January 2000, all registrants are required to complete 24 Continuing Education credit hours of real estate education in each two-year registration cycle. Six of those credit hours are obtained through the mandatory "RECO REAL ESTATE UPDATE". The balance of the credits can be obtained through self-selected courses and seminars that are RECO approved.

RECO Real Estate Update This course must be taken during each 2-year registration cycle. It is provided only by OREA. 6 credit hours
Self-selected courses/seminars The balance of the credit hours are to self-selected education courses/seminars completed within the 2-year registration cycle. Balance of credit hours to a total of 24 credit hours
