Welcome to the January edition of the Network News!

Another year has passed and here we are in 2007! At this time some people like to reflect on past accomplishments or events, while others are already molding and shaping new ideas for the coming year.

Some people are also perhaps asking themselves, “What new year's resolution will I most likely follow through with, this year?”

This month's Network News brings us articles on topics such as neutral and ground wiring, along with continuing our three part series on growing your business. We will also present marketing tools and strategies for you to take advantage of, such as understanding opportunity costs.
In 2007 we will have a variety of product promotions that will be introduced in each monthly publication, so keep your eyes peeled and your ears tuned.

Thank you to our photo contest winners for 2006 and for those of you who would like an opportunity to enter, don’t hesitate to send some snapshots our way!

Just for fun, this month’s issue of Network News includes a word scramble for you to wrap your heads around. Please send in your answers via email to myself and we will do a draw for a winner! See below and Good Luck!

In following through with promises or resolutions Carson Dunlop has made a commitment to the Report Writing community to deliver industry focused and helpful articles, along with tips throughout the coming year to better build your business.

As always, we’re happy to hear from you, and I can be reached at 1-800-268-7070 ext 232 or by email at methe@carsondunlop.com.

Sincerely,

Building Your Business

Three Ways to Grow Your Business!

In continuing with our three part series on growing your business, we will explore some examples of specific strategies that will take advantage of the three main ways to grow your business, outlined in article #1.

These include:

1. Increasing your number of customers
2. Increasing your fee (my personal favourite!)
3. Selling and offering more to each client.

We have included the first two articles in our series for you to review. To read article #3 of our series, click here and make sure to watch out for other growth strategies discussed in future editions of the Network News.
