Welcome to the February edition of the Network News!

Hello Everyone!

I hope you are managing well with the cold, along with wishing for an early spring.

During this time of year it is easy to let the winter blahs get you down. On that note, why not soak into this month’s featured article on Whirlpool Baths! Also to keep you warmed up, have a look at the article on Identifying Commercial Heating Systems. We hope you find the helpful hints and educational articles valuable to your business.

With Valentines Day approaching, we should be thinking of those that we love and what we are going to do to show them how much they mean to us. To show our appreciation this month, we are offering the Technical Reference Guide at a special price, so you can impress your clients with valuable information on their home heating system.

During the winter as we fight to combat coughs and colds, we recommend laughter as the best medicine! We would like to thank Calvin McCafferty from Caltech Consulting Limited in Kingston, Nova Scotia for his humorous contribution to this month’s photo contest.

Congratulations are also in order to Robert MacArthur of RGM Home Inspections, in Charlottetown P.E.I, for winning the Word Scramble from the January issue. All of you that answered: Hearth, Anode and Scupper were correct!! Thank you to all of you who sent in your entries.

I hope that all of you are keeping safe and warm while pressing through to the spring!

As always, we’re happy to hear from you, and I can be reached at 1-800-268-7070 ext 232 or by email at carrieann@carsondunlop.com.

Sincerely,

Carrie-Ann Methe

Technical Article #2 - Whirlpool Baths

Whirlpool baths are also called jetted bathtubs, hydromassage bathtubs and hydromassage therapeutic bathtubs. We think of a whirlpool bath as an ordinary bathtub with some fancy accessories. Building Your Business

Yellow Page Advertising – A necessary evil!

This month we will discuss the relative merits of advertising your home inspection company in the yellow pages. While our experience suggests that this advertising medium will not result in a meaningful increase in business, we have some suggestions that will allow you to take advantage of this consumer focused advertising channel without having a major impact on your marketing budget.
