Practical Focus

The focus of the program is practical instruction, designed to help students learn to inspect. We don't concentrate on academic theories, formulas, or code compliance. There are other courses available for those things. The Home Inspection Training Program focuses instead on performance issues, explaining how things work and how to identify problems and non-performance. We teach what a home inspector needs to know!

ASHI Compatibility

All course materials comply with the Standards of Practice of the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI) and the Canadian Association of Home Inspectors (CAHPI), the leading, nationally recognized professional associations for independent home inspectors. Students who successfully complete our course will be prepared to pass the National Home Inspection Examination. Individual course modules qualify for continuing education credits that are a requirement of ASHI and other professional associations. The Home Inspection Training Program fully complies with the ASHI Home Inspection Curriculum.
